I have been a happy, busy camper!
Making bracelets and bangles and selling them through word of mouth or through Facebook friends.
My ETSY account is pretty and has 32 items right now, but they are just window dressing right now.
With all the competition online for handmade jewelry, I feel like my shop is a needle in the haystack.
Not complaining...when I post something on etsy to sell, I share it with my Facebook friends and it gets noticed and ordered, or they will custom order something else, they send a check and then I mail it out.
So I guess it's a win, win, because bottom line is...sales!
I love working with wire and designing new and fun pieces to wear.

Happy New Year! 2014
December was quite eventful for me.
On my birthday, December 5th, during dinner, I started feeling weird...long story short, went to the emergency room, nine hours later admitted and spent the next 12 days there. I had the surgery I needed for the parathyroid growth (a nickle size tumor on the gland) removed.
I'm home now, recovering and waiting to feel good again now that the problem has been removed from my body!
Hoping to have my creative side return and get back to living!

It's been way to long since I wrote anything and would like to start posting again as soon as I have some new and interesting things to write about.
I have to go through some medical things and then "I'll be back!"

As of today, I am totally freelance...I am not connected to any stores, groups, organizations or people (except my family). It's OK for now, but I just don't know what direction God wants me to go, so I am staying put...that's it!

back to blogging...and what I've been up to
pyramid boxes...I've been making them for at least 12 years and they come in every size (these are extra large) and so many colors.

OK... we have a new addition to our family:
My daughter, Maria and her husband, Robert had their first children on November 17, 2010. This is our #11 grandbaby and we are totally in love with him! See pic below:
I've been beading again, big time! Teaching classes at Michaels in Ft. Lauderdale, getting ready for a craft show in December and just daily life has kept me quite focused.

facebook & other things
I never thought I would enjoy being on facebook and now I can't stay off of it!
Reconnecting with my old high school friends, seeing pictures of them now, with their families and sharing memories has been great.

Also, preparing for surgery, which may take a couple of months.
Swimming everyday and eating healthy foods. I feel pretty good and want to get even better.
Made some beaded earrings, a necklace and cell phone charms.
